Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) play an important role in protecting creative works and local products to ensure legal certainty and economic sustainability. However, public awareness and understanding of IPR among rural communities in Indonesia remain relatively low. This community service program aimed to increase legal awareness and understanding of Intellectual Property Rights among the community of Kurungan Nyawa Village, Pesawaran Regency, Lampung. The program was implemented using a participatory-educational approach through legal socialization, interactive discussions, and initial technical assistance related to IPR protection. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and pre- and post-activity questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods. The results show a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of basic IPR concepts, types of IPR, benefits of legal protection, and registration procedures. The program also encouraged positive behavioral changes, including increased interest in protecting local products and the emergence of local actors as promoters of IPR awareness. Despite its positive impact, the program faced limitations, particularly the short duration of activities and the absence of direct assistance in IPR registration. Therefore, follow-up programs focusing on continuous mentoring and facilitation of IPR registration are recommended to ensure sustainable outcomes and broader social impact.
