The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has raised concerns among high school students that the accounting profession will become obsolete. This community service activity aims to educate students on the transformation of the accounting profession and introduce Digital Accounting as a strategic career solution. The program was implemented at two schools (SMK Al-Irsyad Surabaya (Nursing & Pharmacy) and SMA Ulul Albab Surabaya) using interactive lectures, case studies, and simulations. Evaluation was conducted through pre-test and post-test questionnaires using a Likert scale. The results showed a significant increase in students' understanding of AI’s role, shifting their perception of AI from a threat to a valuable tool. Students, including those from non-economic backgrounds, demonstrated higher interest in digital accounting careers after the intervention. The discussion highlights that contextual mentoring effectively bridges the information gap and improves digital literacy. In conclusion, the program successfully enhanced career readiness by aligning student perceptions with industry needs. It is suggested that future activities incorporate hands-on practice with accounting software and expand the reach to more diverse educational institutions to provide a broader impact on future career decisions.
